FAQs

Do I need a state park sticker to visit Havenwoods?

No, but you can purchase stickers here to use at other state parks.

 

When are you open?

The grounds are open daily from 6 am to 8 pm. The education center is open from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. On Saturday mornings, the center is open from 9 am to 12 noon year round (from May through October the hours extend until 2 pm).

 

Where are you located?

We are located one block west of Sherman Blvd. (43rd Street) on Douglas Ave (see map).

 

What can I do at Havenwoods?

You can hike, run, ride your bicycle (on limestone and asphalt roads only), watch wildlife, have a picnic, and enjoy being outdoors.

 

Can I bring my pet to Havenwoods?

Yes. Your pet must be controlled and on a leash no longer than 8 feet. About half of the property is open to pets (see map). You must clean up after your pet.

 

How can I support Havenwoods?

You can become a member of Friends of Havenwoods, volunteer your time, and encourage other people to visit.
