Drop-in on Nature
On the second and third Saturday of each month, you and your family or youth group can drop in between 9 am and 2pm to play games, create crafts, discover cool stuff about nature, and try out a simple outdoor nature activity!
Family Nature Hikes
On the first Saturday of each month, join a naturalist for a seasonal hike.
Each Saturday features a different theme. See the current calendar or newsletter (sidebar on the right top of this page) for this month's theme.
Preschool Storytimes
Join a naturalist every other Tuesday for stories, activities, and crafts. These programs are for preschoolers, ages 3-5, and their parents, grandparents, or other adult. They are not for day care centers or organizations.
See the current calendar or newsletter for this month's dates and topics.
Junior Ranger Programs
During summer vacation, kids (ages 6 - 8) can attend programs every other Tuesday. The kids listen to a story, take a discovery hike, and make a project. These programs are held concurrently with preschool storytimes.
See the current calendar or newsletter for dates and topics.
Books in Your Backyard
Come to Havenwoods to read a good book in our comfy bean bag chairs. Then borrow a bag filled with activities and exploring tools. We have tried to make it easy for you to go exploring with your kids. Topics change every month or two.
