Photos from Winter NatureFest
Kids had a great time
digging through a pile of trash to create critters,
vehicles, and art sculptures. Here are a few samples
of their work. Come
next year to watch them create!

Scenes from Winter NatureFest, February 21, 2009.
The snow started early in the morning and kept
falling most of the day. By afternoon, the snow was
so deep that snowshoeing was the best way to
get around.

Meanwhile, back in the
building, kids of all ages enjoyed making bird
crafts.

And . . . meeting the screech
owl and peregrine falcon.

There was plenty to do, both
inside and out. Don't miss next year's festival -
February 20th. The theme will be Mammals - Surviving
the Big Chill!
